We believe that children learn through play, they need to explore materials, their environment and space to make sense of their world. Our program is Reggio inspired, as we believe the environment is the third teacher. As we collaborate with the families and our community, the children will enjoy a richer and fuller experience. We will incorporate the curriculum framework in our program: play, participation and possibilities. We the educators are learners and researchers alongside the children.

Our centre is open Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm.

About ELCC
McLeod Community ELCC has been operating effectively in the McLeod Community since September 2007 and is offered Monday to Friday for families in our community. We have caring, professional Educators who inspire a fun, safe, and enriching environment for your child. Our Bible-based program emphasizes values of love, cooperation, sharing, respect, and responsibility. Our environment is set up to inspire learning through wonder and questioning. Our Educators provide tools for the children to build healthy relationships and materials to encourage creativity. We demonstrate developmentally appropriate self-help and life skills. Our centre is licensed by Alberta Children’s Services and subsidy is available on request.
Registration and Admission Requirements
In order for a child to be accepted into our programs, they must complete the following steps:
- Complete the online registration process
- Pay a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 per child
The childcare space is not secured until the registration fee is paid.
