The Bible was written by those who were inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16), so it is accurate and true, and represents historical occurrences. The Bible reveals the very essence of God (John 1:1). When we look at the New Testament we realize that it was written by those who either knew Jesus personally as eyewitnesses or were under the direction of those who did. They wrote what they saw.
