At Steele Heights Baptist Church, we aspire to develop spiritually healthy families
by supporting marriages and empowering parents to be the primary nurturers of their
children’s faith. We support parents in this process, through a partnership with the
Holy Spirit, to see families experience true transformation, having Christ at the center
of their home.
Children and their families worship together during an interactive, age-appropriate worship service along with the rest of the church family.

SHBC Marriage Ministry
Marriage is foundational to the success of your family as well as our church and community.
If you are married, a question you can ask yourself is, “How am I caring for my relationship?”
Dating, the wedding and honeymoon were great, but what has happened after that? Nurturing your marriage takes time, investment, and intentionality.
The SHBC Marriage Ministry is our discipleship pathway that equips couples to GROW TOGETHER.

Mom’s Drop-In meets every Tuesday in the SHBC Lobby. Drop in anytime between 9:00 am and 11:00 am for a chance to connect with other moms while your children play. Light snacks will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Bonnie.
Providing Faith Journey Events is one way we support parents as “the primary nurturers of their children’s faith.” One Sunday morning per year during both 9 & 11 am worship services, parents will have the opportunity to be with each of their children, ages 5 -18, individually in a hands-on workshop to learn a new faith skill that they can continue developing at home. For more information, please contact Pastor Bonnie.

Twice a year, we take advantage of the group rate for the Family Life Weekend Getaway for married couples. This is a refreshing time for couples to grow in their relationships and enjoy the beauty of Jasper or Lake Louise.
