Jamal was born and raised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He came to Canada as a Refugee in 1996. He is married to Noella. Together they have four kids: Adil, Jaleel, Tanissa and Akil.
Jamal studied at Ambrose University, Holy Apostles Seminary and Providence Theological Seminary from which he earned his Theological Training. His main passion is to help the body of Christ apply timeless truth of scripture to their everyday lives and share their faith.
In addition to teaching, Jamal serves as a chaplain volunteer by providing spiritual guidance to inmates in Prison Institutions around the Edmonton Area. He enjoys star gazing with his favourite Orion Telescope in his free time.
